The Canadian Dental Care Plan is working. More than 500,000 Canadians have received dental care through the CDCP in just 3 months, and 2.3 million Canadians have been approved for CDCP.

We have collaborated with dental associations and professionals to create a program that works for Canadians and oral health providers. More than to 19,000 dentists, hygienists and denturists are now participating in the program, representing over 75% of active oral health providers in Canada.

Canadians deserve affordable and accessible health care, and that includes oral care. Ensuring that every Canadian can get the health care they need is essential.

Oral care is an integral part of our overall health. No one should have to choose between caring for their teeth and paying their bills. The CDCP will help make dental care more affordable for the nearly nine million Canadians who are currently estimated to have no coverage.

The Canada Dental Care Plan is one of the largest social programs in Canadian history.
