On March 5th, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to the region for a round table discussion with key local business leaders on the new Canada—United-States—Mexico Agreement. Following that meeting, she joined me in touring the facilities of Lumenpulse, an innovative Longueuil company specializing in the design, development and manufacture of high-performance LED architectural lighting solutions. A big thank you to Minister Freeland for accepting my invitation to come and see for herself just how dynamic our businesses and entrepreneurs are here on the South Shore.
